A cervicogenic headache is a type of headache that originates from issues in the cervical spine (the neck). The pain typically begins in the neck and radiates to the head, often resembling a migraine or tension-type headache.

Pain due to osteoarthritis (OA) is a common symptom resulting from the degenerative changes in the joints. Osteoarthritis is the most prevalent form of arthritis, often referred to as “wear and tear” arthritis. It primarily affects the cartilage, the smooth tissue that covers the ends of bones in a joint, causing pain, swelling, and reduced motion.

Tendinitis is an acute inflammation of a tendon, which is a fibrous connective tissue that attaches muscle to bone. This condition typically results from overuse or injury. When tendons are subjected to excessive strain or repetitive motions, they can become irritated and inflamed, leading to pain, swelling, and difficulty in moving the affected area.

Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) of the lower limbs is a chronic pain condition that typically affects one of the legs (though it can also affect arms or other parts of the body). It is characterized by severe pain, swelling, and changes in the skin. CRPS is often divided into two types:

• CRPS-I: Occurs without a confirmed nerve injury.

• CRPS-II: Occurs with a confirmed nerve injury, previously known as causalgia.
